Most diet gurus told us to take exercise at least thirty minutes per day, even sometimes they told us to work out one hour per day. But I realize some of us do not have enough time to do that. We just can’t go to the gym or run outside our home for half or one hour per day. After we busy in our work place, what we want usually is a rest. Even if we think we do not need rest, we still want to socialize with our family and close friends. Yes, it is a choice if we decide to take exercise instead of sharing love with our family. However, most people will agree that social life is much more important than just losing weight.

So how to lose weight but maintain our social life? Easy. First, you need to buy a pedometer. You need to count how many steps you take every day. If you walk for only around 2,500 steps every day, you need to work harder. Usually a person only takes 1,000-2,500 steps. This is one of the main reasons why people are getting fatter every day. You need to take at least 4,000 steps every day to get healthy. Of course the case is different if you take exercises 30 minutes (like I mentioned earlier). But we must remember that this suggestion (4,000 steps) is for people who never have time to take exercise.

Now if you think you walk like most fat men do, what you need to do is to find your problem. Maybe you use car too often in your daily activities. You should take a walk every morning to your work place. If you think the distance is too far, then you should park your car not inside your work place but find a place around 10-20 meter and park there. So you could walk before and after you work. In the end, your pedometer will tell you that you have taken many more steps than usual people and you will automatically burn your calories.

Other ways to increase the numbers in your pedometer is to walk with your pet, maybe a dog. Walk with your dog every morning. I think this is normal for animal lovers. But if you are not an animal lover, maybe you should try other ways. There are many tricks to help you get healthier lifestyle effectively. For example, try to walk on the stairs if your office is not in the first floor. Don’t take elevator. This is just an example, actually you can discover many other simple ways to lose weight. What you need is your willingness, that’s all.
