One of the debatable issues is the quantity of the ingredients in the EverSlim formula. All the three main ingredients of the EverSlim formula are used in much higher proportions in the clinical studies when compared to their strength in the formula. The three major ingredients of the EverSlim formula are: Garcinia cambogia extract, Chromium polynicotinate, and Gymnema sylvestre extract.

The third ingredient, Gymnema sylvestre extract is perhaps the only one in the appropriate quantity in the EverSlim formula, its precise quantity is not identifiable from the formula.

The Other Ingredients

Besides the three main components of the formula there are other components in the EverSlim formula. These include: Griffonia, Soy Phospholipids, Green tea, and caffeine.

Griffonia behaves more or less like 5_HTP.  5_HTP is known for its medicinal qualities in the form of mild depressant. It mainly works by increasing the serotonin level in the human body. This increase results in mood change. 5_HTP is also found to alter the appetite of a person.  However, as per research, significantly higher doses are required.

Results of the experiments on Soy Phospholipids suggest that they may provide relief from hot flushes associated with menopause. It might also provide protection from breast cancer. Its usefulness in a weight loss program is doubtful.

Green tea has provided positive results for weight loss; in combination with caffeine it is more effective. These ingredients in the EverSlim formula may prove helpful in the weight loss reduction although it won't really help.

The EverSlim formula comes in two blends in the form of “EverSlim Daytime Energy Blend” and “EverSlim Nighttime Formula”. The main ingredients are the same in both the formulations. The only difference is that the night time formula comes with 4 additional ingredients. These extra components have known sleep inducing qualities.
